How to Remove Multiple Rows

For more efficiency, you can remove multiple rows at once by selecting the first row and then dragging your mouse through all the rows you want to delete.

Excel will take care of counting them for you.

Counting Rows

Just look at the small box on the right to see the row count.

But be careful!

If the rows you need to delete are not consecutive, you’ll have to use a different approach.

Select the rows by clicking on each one, while pressing the ‘Ctrl‘ key on your keyboard.

Then right-click and choose ‘Delete‘.

Remember, if you want to keep the data contained in the rows, it’s better to hide them instead of deleting them.
