Minimum payments keep you in debt for years
Barely moving
You pay every month, but the balances hardly go down because most of it is interest.
Which one first?
Smallest balance? Highest rate? Without the numbers it’s a guess.
No finish line
Without a debt-free date it’s hard to stay motivated.
List your debts. Get your date.
List your debts
Each debt’s balance, interest rate (APR) and minimum payment. Up to 10.
Add an extra amount

Pick your plan
Compare Snowball and Avalanche and follow the month-by-month plan to debt-free.
Two proven methods, side by side
Snowball pays the smallest balance first for quick wins. Avalanche pays the highest interest rate first to save the most. The planner ranks your debts both ways so you can see the order.
- Payoff order worked out for you
- Warns if a minimum doesn’t cover the interest
- Switch plans with one drop-down
| Debt | Balance | APR | Minimum | Snowball | Avalanche |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Credit card | $4,200 | 24.99% | $110 | 4 | 2 |
| Store card | $850 | 29.90% | $35 | 1 | 1 |

Every payment snowballs
When a debt is paid off, its payment rolls onto the next one, so you keep paying the same total each month and each debt goes faster. The schedule shows every balance, month by month, with the payoff month in green.
- 20-year month-by-month schedule
- Payoff month for every debt
