Questions
Does it get live exchange rates?
No. You type the rate on the Trip tab, so it works offline and never changes behind your back. Update it whenever you like.
Can I use it for a trip in the US?
Yes. Leave the currency blank and everything stays in dollars.
How does the cost splitting work?
Mark a cost Split? = Yes and it’s shared evenly between everyone on the Trip tab. The Split Costs tab shows what each person paid, their fair share, and who pays who.
Can I plan more than one trip?
Yes. Save a copy of the file for each trip.
Does it use macros?
No. It’s a normal .xlsx file, so there are no security warnings and nothing to enable.
Which versions of Excel does it work with?
Microsoft 365, Excel 2010 or later on Windows, and Excel for Mac. It’s built for Microsoft Excel.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and the file is yours to keep.
