Subscriptions add up quietly
Small amounts, big total
$9.99 here and $14.99 there doesn’t feel like much, until you add up a whole year.
Free trials that start charging
You meant to cancel before the trial ended. The first payment says otherwise.
Yearly renewals you forgot about
A yearly plan renews once, quietly, and you only notice on your statement.
List them once. The tracker keeps watch.
Add your subscriptions
The cost, how often it’s billed and the date of a past payment. Weekly, monthly, every 3 or 6 months, or yearly.
Set the status
Active, Free trial, Paused or Cancelled. Only Active ones count towards what you pay.
Check the dashboard
What you pay a month and a year, what’s renewing next, where the money goes, and what cancelling has saved.
Know before you’re charged
The tracker counts forward from any past payment to the next renewal date, and keeps rolling it on. Anything renewing in the next 7 days is flagged, and free trials about to start charging turn red.
- Next renewal and days left for every subscription
- Trial ending warnings
- Choose how many days counts as “soon”

Hi, I’m Lee
I run Sheet Leveller on YouTube, where I make quick, no-nonsense Excel tutorials.
This tracker uses the date formulas from my tutorials to count forward to every renewal, so it keeps working month after month without you touching it.
Questions
What if I don’t know when I first subscribed?
Any past payment date works, like last month’s. The tracker counts forward to the next one.
How do free trials work?
Set the status to Free trial and put the date it starts charging. You’ll get a warning before it does.
Can I add my own categories?
Yes. Rename or add categories on the Settings tab and the drop-down updates.
Does it work for yearly and weekly plans?
Yes. Weekly, monthly, every 3 months, every 6 months and yearly are all built in.
Does it use macros?
No. It’s a normal .xlsx file, so there are no security warnings and nothing to enable.
Which versions of Excel does it work with?
Microsoft 365, Excel 2010 or later on Windows, and Excel for Mac. It’s built for Microsoft Excel.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and the file is yours to keep.
Stop paying for things you don’t use.
Every subscription, every renewal and the real yearly cost, in one simple spreadsheet.
