Most people have no idea what they’re worth
Money in ten places
Checking, savings, a 401(k), an IRA, a mortgage, a car loan… nothing shows the whole picture.
Progress you can’t see
You’re paying down debt and saving, but it never feels like you’re getting anywhere.
No yearly check-in
Without a number to track, there’s no way to tell if this year was better than last.
Five minutes, once a month
List your accounts
Bank accounts, savings, retirement, investments, your home and car, and every loan and card. Up to 30.
Type your balances
Once a month, what each one is worth. Debts go in as positive amounts: they’re taken away for you.
Watch it grow
Your net worth, the change this month and since you started, your goal and a chart, all worked out.
Your whole financial picture in one place
See your net worth, how much it moved this month and since you started, your total debts, and exactly where your money is, by category.

Questions
What counts as an asset?
Cash, savings, retirement and investment accounts, plus what your home and car would sell for. Debts are your mortgage, loans and credit card balances.
Does it link to my bank?
No. You type your balances once a month, which takes about five minutes. Nothing is linked to your accounts.
What happens after 24 months?
Change the first month on the Settings tab to start a new period, or save a copy for each year.
Is this financial advice?
No. It’s a tracker to help you see your progress. For advice on your situation, talk to a qualified professional.
Does it use macros?
No. It’s a normal .xlsx file, so there are no security warnings and nothing to enable.
Which versions of Excel does it work with?
Microsoft 365, Excel 2010 or later on Windows, and Excel for Mac. It’s built for Microsoft Excel.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and the file is yours to keep.
