Every ingredient from every meal you’ve planned is added up, scaled to the number of people, with what’s already in your pantry taken off. Things you buy whole, like eggs and cans, are rounded up.
- Sorted by aisle, in your store’s order
- Pantry items taken off
- Estimated cost for each item

Questions
Do I have to use your recipes?
No. The 17 recipes are examples. Delete them and add your own, or keep the ones you like.
What if someone’s eating out?
Type anything in a meal slot, like Leftovers or Eat out. It’s ignored on the grocery list.
Do I need to add prices?
No. Prices are optional. Without them, you still get the full grocery list.
Can I plan more than one week?
It plans one week at a time. Save a copy for each week, or clear the planner and start again.
Does it use macros?
No. It’s a normal .xlsx file, so there are no security warnings and nothing to enable.
Which versions of Excel does it work with?
Microsoft 365, Excel 2010 or later on Windows, and Excel for Mac. It’s built for Microsoft Excel.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and the file is yours to keep.
